what comes next?
If you are an active customer and have been getting content from companies on image.net, you will soon get an email invitation to register on Media Manager.
Once you create your account, you will be given access to content from companies that you were previously getting from image.net.
how does the new platform work?
Assets are organized into sections, which are high level categories of content. Within each section you’ll find related content, such as images for a film, Press documents, red carpet images and more.
Click on a thumbnail to go into the asset detail page.
ASSET DETAIL PAGE
1. Keywords on the assets, these are clickable.
If you find a keyword that is interesting, click on
that tag and it will start a new search.
2. Custom fields include more metadata about
the asset. These are also clickable, to find related
content with similar metadata.
3. Metadata tab: shows full metadata that
is embedded on the asset.
4. Similar tab: find related content based on similar
images (based on the actual pixels in the image,
not direct keywords).
5. Share: easily get a share link to share out a link
to the asset.
6. Download options: convert and resize the file prior
to downloading.
7. Export options: crop the image prior to download.
Pre set social sizes are available to crop specifically
for social platforms.

labels and filters
Click on the filters button on the asset grid to find options to help to narrow down your search. Narrow down by tags, file types, specific custom field values, orientation, upload date and more. To clear out your filters and start over, click the refresh link.
Labels are a way to organize content in a hierarchy.
You can click in and out of labels to find exact content
that you need. Labels and filters can work together, so
that within a label, you can still filter to the exact
content that you want.
To clear the label selection, just click on the “x” of the
label path above the search box.
search
Along with filters and labels, there are multiple options on how searches can be performed. On the left of the search box, you’ ll see four different search options.
1. Any of these terms: This treats the search term as an OR operator.
Such as cliff divers will search for content containing both “cliff”
and “divers”.
2. All of these terms: This option uses an AND operator, so cliff divers
would search for text strings that contain “Cliff Divers”, so in that case
the search would be more precise.
3. Contains this phrase: This option is if you know part of an asset’s
name or a bit of text in its description. By searching cliff divers with
this option it will pull in all assets that contain that phrase. For
example, an asset with a name of cliff divers in the ocean would be
returned as the name contains cliff divers. It will not return results
where the terms are spread across multiple indexed fields.
4. Exactly this phrase: This is the strictest of the four options and
requires users to be precise when searching. For example, searching
cliff divers with this option would not return an asset named cliff
divers in the ocean to appear in your results. The user would need to
type the full name, nothing less and nothing more, for an asset
to match.
Navigating between different content and companies
Instead of a homepage of all content, you will be able to navigate available content from different providers from the ‘My Libraries' dropdown. Here will be a full view of all content that has been permissioned out to you.
1. On the "My Libraries" link on the upper left, hover and you will see all things that you have access to see. You can easily navigate between content from this method.
2. If you click on the "My Libraries" link, it will take you to the organization view. This will show you everything on a single page. This can also be accessed by visiting dam.gettyimages.com/organizations directly.
My profile
Your Profile page is where you can make updates to your settings, such as password and notification settings. Here is where you can also find your boards and download content directly from there.
